HIS III: Student Leaders' Investiture 2019

On the 24th of May, we held our annual Student Leaders’ Investiture! Our third batch of student leaders (consisting of the councillors, House directorate, CCA directorate, and Class directorate) have stepped up to the challenge - to lead Eunoia to achieve greater heights.

This investiture was also the first event that the 3rd Student Council got to organize together. We worked in our standing committees to put together this very special day. 3SC decided on the theme of ‘HIS III’, a play on the word ‘history’ and the roman numerals for ‘3’. The idea stemmed from our conviction to make history as the third batch of student leaders.

While new leaders get invested, our seniors get to step down and finally enjoy a well-deserved rest. A big thank you to the seniors for their contributions to our school and laying down our foundations. As the new student leaders, we believe that they will continue establishing an exceptional history for the batches to come!

Here is what our seniors, the second batch of Eunoians, have to say:

“To the new batch of student leaders: Congratulations on being invested! Your peers have seen potential in you and have decided to choose you to lead them. As the previous batch of student leaders step down, it is now time for you to pave the way and shape the future for the next batches of Eunoians to come. Envision the Eunoia you want to see and work hard to achieve it. That being said, we are really proud of what all of you have accomplished in such a short amount of time. Remember to dream big as anything is possible if you set your mind to it. We are certain that you can bring Eunoia to even greater heights!

We would now like to thank everyone for the constant support and cooperation over the past year.

To the class directorate, thank you for settling class administrative work so efficiently and working on numerous proposals for school events. You consistently clarify any doubts that you may have before disseminating the information to the rest of the class and it is so heartwarming to see that you take your work seriously and want to bring your classes closer!

To the CCA executive committees, thank you for working alongside us and training relentlessly with your team to hone your skills and make the school proud. You make school life more vibrant for your fellow Eunoians and give them a reason to look forward to coming to school. It could not have been easy managing such a large group of people and we have the utmost respect for you all!

To the 5 house committees, thank you for always finding time to come up with unconventional ideas in order to foster house spirit and promote bonding within the school population! You never fail to execute them flawlessly and give your all to liven the school atmosphere!

To EJMEDIA, thank you for all the beautiful pictures that you have taken over the course of the past year. You have not ceased to amaze us with your wonderful photography and editing skills, and you have helped to preserve moments that will now last for a lifetime. We are eternally grateful for all that you have done!

To our council teachers-in-charge, thank you for all your guidance, love, care, and advice that you have given us during our term. You have always been by our side ✌watching and helping us develop into better versions of ourselves and no words can express how grateful we are for that!

Most importantly, we would like to thank YOU - Eunoians - for experiencing the magical moments we have created alongside with us! They would not have been possible without your unwavering support and feedback and together, we have worked on the foundations that our seniors have laid for us and helped to shape the school culture.

However, it is now time for us to take a step back and let the next batch of students take our place. With that, we would like to wish 3SC and the next batch of student leaders all the best for their term! It has truly been a pleasure serving the school.
